ESX 3.x had LDAP, 5.1x only has AD?

According to your docs, in earlier versions of ESXi you could use esxcfg-auth --enableldap to connect to an LDAP database. You also included a seperate page for those trying to set up their ESX server with AD.

We just realized that esxcfg-auth is no longer a command in ESXi 5.x. The only way is through vSphere with Active Directory.

Before I jump the gun, when esxcfg-auth DID exist, was it for LDAP too or was it just AD then as well?

I find it a little annoying when perfectly functioning features are removed from updates.. I just find it funny that we are restricted to Active Directory when lots of companies are focused more on LDAP.
