Hello,

I would like to programatically connect to client using the code below.

            Dim client As New VimClient()
            client.Login(URL, Username, Password)

It works on couple of development servers but on the production server, it gives the following error:

The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.
Received an unexpected EOF or 0 bytes from the transport stream.

Int32 ReadPacket(Byte[], Int32, Int32)

I tried the following and didn't work:

1. Tried bypassing certificate errors by using a custom certification policy:

          System.Net.ServicePointManager.CertificatePolicy = New CustomCerPolicy()

      2.     Added the line of code:

                  ServicePointManager.SecurityProtocol = SecurityProtocolType.Ssl3

           just before client.login.

     3.     Added the  line of code:

                    ServicePointManager.ServerCertificateValidationCallback = Function(s As Object, certificate As X509Certificate, chain As X509Chain, sslPolicyErrors As SslPolicyErrors) True

just before client.login.

None of them worked.

Any help is appreciated.
