Good morning,
I was in the middle of powering up vAPPs this morning (through vCD) and some of my hosts decided to get disconnected from the vCenter. The power up tasks failed and the hosts stayed disconnected for about 5 minutes. They would eventually connect back in and I had to power up the vAPPs again. Mind you, I am powering 5 to 7 vAPPs at the same time to do a quick test. Some more info:
- Events message: "/sbin/hostd crashed (1 time(s) so far) and a core file might been create at /var/core/hostd-worker-zdump.000. This might have caused connections to the host to be dropped."
- # of VMs per vAPPs: 7-10 (depending on the vAPP).
- # of vAPP I tried powering on simultenously: 5 to 7.
- ESXi version: ESXi 5.0.0 build 474610.
- vCenter Server version: 5.0.0 build 623373.
- vCD version: 1.5.1.
Have you guys seen this yet? I'm also submitting a SR ticket for it.
Thanks in advance!
Have a great day.
