ESXi 5.1 + Apple Mac Pro = fan speed...

Hello,

I've installed successfully VMware ESXi 5.1 on my Apple Mac Pro (model 5,1). It's fully supported by VMware.

Unfortunately it looks like the result is unusable as a quiet desktop, because ESXi 5.1 fails to regulate fan speed: the tower is now too loud.

Is there any way to make ESXi 5.1 properly regulate fan speed?

Installation process:

1. removed every HDD and SSD from my system
2. pluged in an old spare HDD for testing
3. booted on the ESXi 5.1 install CD
4. installed ESXi on the HDD
5. rebooted

I had great hopes into ESXi, in order to use vt-d / vt-x for desktop virtualization (Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, and windows), But if ESXi can't regulate fan speed, it's all ruined.
