Migration of hosts from vcenter - HA question

Hey Guys,

Now I know beyond doubt that HA will work when vcenter is offline.

However what about when I am migrating it to a new vcenter.

I am moving a cluster from vcenter 4.1 to vCenter 5.1. Now this is what I want to do..

1. Remove the datacenter (datacenter-->folder-->cluster-->hyp1hyp2hyp3)

2. Create the datacenter on the new vcenter 5.1

3. Create the folder in the datacenter

4. Create the cluster

5. Connect hypervisor 1 2 and 3 and add it to the cluster

Now in step 4 above, the creation of cluster and then adding hosts will refresh HA. Now until I reach step 5 - If I loose hyp2 and hyp3 - will HA act - technically I think it will.

Need a sanity check
