Hi were installing the HP management agents for our DL380 G7and DL580 G7, we've downloaded the correct HP Agents from the HP website however after installation and we've configured the HP Insight Mangement in the vCenter with the root and its password we still don't get the additional information in the vCenter tabs:
"Hardware status" - we don't see the additional information thats supposed to be available after the agent install and the tab is showing the error "no new host data available" and while if I look into the "HP Insight Management" tab under and the "Communications" option I get the error
- SNMP agents, Providers status "unavailable"
- iLO Server status "unavailable"
is there anyway to check the software is running correctly, I've done a check using esxupdate and confirmed the components have been installed but how can I check their working correctly?
The problem is we can get it working properly on 1 DL580 G7 server however on all the other ones nothing is displaying.
