update esx host not using update manager

hi,

we have some esx hosts and for security reason we are not allow to connect to the internet and update manager is not/prob cant be installed (security) so i need to download and install patches manually.

i am needing to apply the following patch but at the bottom of the KB i get

what is the none typical way?  is there one?

hosts are 5.1
